Adin Rasheedi is the Founder of AfSU, and currently a Trustee of the Union. He served as the Union’s Executive Director from its inception in December 2021, until June 2025. Adin holds a Master's degree in MA Politics and Economics of the Middle East, as well as a BSc in Politics, both from King's College London. He was made an Associate of King’s College (AKC) in June 2024. He currently works at King's as a Senior Education Support Officer. Adin is passionate about diaspora leadership, strategy, and understanding how best to measure the diaspora’s progression. Adin founded AfSU because he wanted to support students in the development of their academic and professional lives after seeing the impact of community building and development projects in other diasporic contexts. Adin is well known for his accomplishments and services to improving diaspora capability.
